Due to the pandemic crisis caused by COVID-19 we have to inform you that our conference has been rescheduled and will be held on June 2021. We are hoping for your understanding and wish you all the best in this hard time. Your organizational team.

Regional, social, and environmental economists from Czech Republic, Poland and Germany meet at the conference in Usti nad Labem to discuss an adaptation of post-industrial society to global changes. Scientists representing almost 10 universities in Central Europe will share their know-how to develop new ideas for local, regional, national and European decision makers.

The scientific conference Social and Economic Development & Regional Policy organized by the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies at the Jan Evangelista Purkyne University stays in the center of attention of Central European regional, social, and environmental economists representing almost 10 universities from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany. At this moment the organizing committee got approximately 40 abstract for oral and poster sessions covering the main topic of the conference – adaptation of post-industrial society to global changes.
